GROOVE DECLASSIFIED.

THE SECRET AGENTS

LA's Premier 1960's Music Revue

a Thrilling
High-Speed Pursuit through
'60s Jazz, Cinema, Pop, Rock, and R&B.

ABOUT

The Secret Agents flawlessly capture the sound of 1960s Jazz, Cinema, Pop, Rock and R&B: the music that makes whatever you’re doing simply cooler

Suddenly, you’re flying First-Class on Pan-Am sipping dry martinis in a svelte three-button suit en route to Las Vegas where you’ll be dining with Steve McQueen at the Sands Hotel just before the Rat Pack show.

That’s the level of cool we’re talking about here…

The Secret Agents were formed in 2018 with one mission: to bring the sounds of the ’60s back into the mainstream by celebrating the music of Bobby Darin, Mel Tormé, Henry Mancini, Lalo Schifrin, Johnny Rivers, Chet Baker, Matt Monro, Horace Silver, Georgie Fame & The Flames, The Buckinghams, Mickey & Sylvia, Del Shannon, The Association, and so many more!

So put on that dinner jacket, pour yourself a drink, and let’s twist again like we did so very long ago.

WORLD CLASS

AGENTS have been in the field with:

Walt Disney Company

The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Turner Classic Movies

Hadestown

The Late Late Show with James Corden

Who Are the Secret Agents?

ALL-STARS from L.A. bands.

MARK KOPITZKE

– Lead Vocals

One moment treating the Great American Songbook with honeyed tones, the next takin’ those ol’ records off the shelf and gettin’ downright funky with em’ — Mark skitters across stages and comes to rest with a rarified vulnerability and charm.

As a young performer, Mark reverently evoked 1940’s nostalgia with the Glenn Miller Orchestra for 9 years—witnessing the worldwide love of the timeless  music.

Most recently, Mark has stepped into the symphony world, with his act The Kings of Soul & Swing. Teaming up with Hamilton star and Broadway veteran, Julius Thomas III, the two friends have rocketed through the symphony circuit.

With Phat Cat Swinger, Mark “The Tiger” Kopitzke is set loose onto Disneyland Resort stages.

Across L.A., Orange County, and up the West Coast, Mark appears at local haunts like Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill Jazz, Campus Jax, Jazzville Palm Springs, and up-and-coming jazz mecca, Libretto in Paso Robles.

SEAN O’KELLEY

– Saxophones, Flute, Vocals, Arranger

There are sax players, and then there’s Sean O’Kelley.

A true entertainer at heart, Sean delights audiences the world over not just with his golden-age sound, but with his energetic stage presence, smooth moves, and classic charm.

With his decades of experience as a Composer, Arranger, and Music Director, Sean knows how to set and manage the perfect tone for every occasion.

From the very beginning, Vitor was in contact with a broad variety of music styles, which made him develop into a highly versatile musician. Able to perform at a high level on several instruments; which include Guitar, Bass, Keys, Ukulele, among others. He has been working in different music groups and as a solo artist since his early teenage years.

MACKENZIE LEIGHTON

EVA MIKHAILOVNA

– Vocals

Eva Mikhailovna is a Russian-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and artist that creates honest and sentimental music for old souls. She values raw openness and sincerity and hopes to translate that in her songwriting and performances. She has released three full-length albums, as well as an EP and multiple singles under her music project “Eva and the Vagabond Tales.”

More recently, she toured across North America with supergroup Postmodern Jukebox, singing and playing guitar, ukulele, accordion and upright bass. She is currently working on her 4th full-length album in Los Angeles.

“It’s hard to say who or what she sounds like, which is extremely refreshing and gives hope that in an age where we think we have heard it all, maybe we haven’t. With several music releases under her belts, Eva has found a way to break barriers as a rising artist and got the attention and support of NPR – cementing her as an artist with something real to give to our ears.”- Buzz Music, 2019.

ERIC BELL

– Piano, Organ

Eric Bell is a Southern California based keyboard player, composer and arranger. He has worked with the likes of Brenton Wood, Phat Cat Swinger, Griff Hamlin, Marvin Smitty Smith, Jeff Hamilton, Bernard Purdie, Dead Man’s Party,  the Jazz Cartel, Pacific Standard Time, as well as many other well known bands and artists across the country.

He has won the best soloist award at the Chicago jazz competition, won the piano chair position for Jeff Hamilton’s young artist trio, and has received multiple awards for his arranging and composing. He is currently one of the head writers for the Disneyland band Phat Cat Swinger, and writes for many other small and large ensembles around the country.

Depending on the mission’s needs – we also can expand or contract the band size, incorporate DANCERS and the spectacle of lighting & projection to further immerse audiences in this vintage re-creation.
